  1. I sure do agree with you about new stuff happening on the fringes. That’s where the whole “Emerging Church” thing is residing at the moment. In a few years it will have made it’s way into the center. It’s like the wringer on a washing machine. It draws the clothes closer and closer to the center till they’re then, then they are pulled under for a bit while NEW clothes are on the outside being sucked toward the middle. Eventually it all comes around again. It’s just one big, repetitive cycle. So here’s a question for you. If we LEARN on the FRINGE, how do we STAY on the FRINGE? I do know I’m addicted to finding answers. I keep getting drawn in to the center — until recently. We’ll see how long I can stay out of the wringer’s reach. I loved what you read. It was soulful and searching. Just what I would have expected from the fringe. Do you feel you’ve changed much since you wrote it?

    • Changed? I don’t know really. I think and feel some different but I still agree with what I wrote for me anyway. I’m still chewing on the idea though. Without the stalk there would be no need for roots or a way for the fruit to manifest. I think the answer may be something like do it all at once. 🙂 I’m not speaking against the center as much as I’m wanting to suggest that the structure is not the point. Which is where I think things get stuck. There is also a biological metaphor/s which would include pruning fead wood or poor soil or bound roots etc. I think in the end my anxiety might interfere with my grow but ultimately I am not in charge or responsible for it.
