It was interesting watching this one. It felt to me like you were “wearing” your poem Homecoming. There was a laid-backness to you in this one, though by the end you were gettin’ pretty wound up. It was like this was a carrying on of the discussion we started the other day, the needing to know where you are to start with, the living in the now. I can see I need to work on that. I really appreciated this talk. Thanks, pardner. I always get something out of these…. 🙂
Our conversation was in my thoughts while I spoke. They often are. The hardest “work” some times is to do nothing.
I guess that’s why your stuff always makes more sense to me when I’m listening, because I’ve already been thinking about it. (rolls eyes…) I guess I need to learn not to think. 🙂 Well, Percy and I are going to take our leave of Oz and just practice breathing and being for this year. I was serious about wanting to write some kind of poetry that’s not always about something depressing. I think I’m kind of sick of my attitude. Thank you for the insights. <3
I’m just going to listen to this class, but I have to say I love that shot of you that comes up on here. You look like you’re doing a yoga pose of some kind. Like a flamenco! 😀
🙂 redneck metaphysical musings
LOL Then you said you looked like a critter when you were under the car. 😀 You never told me you actually saw stars when you hit yourself with that hammer, goofus! You’re a danger to yourself with them tools! 😉
Knowing a thing is done in most inelegant ways. But perhaps there was some beauty in those stars
You see. It’s that kind of beauty I want to see… You “hit” the nail on the head. (‘scuse the pun! 😉 )
