I like that the harlequin is unpainted. It fits with the other pieces content wise.
So, the paintings are portfolio pieces in the making and there are more prints to follow? The question of identity is always left open in portraits. This piece doesn’t need a necklace tag to state anything. The fact that the body is unpainted says it all. Sorry this is so disjointed, but my art brain has been dormant for a while. 🙂
