The soul is best reflected in the record, the choices it makes.
Those brute facts are a mirror.
Gaze deeply.
Don’t blink.
Don’t be distracted by circumstance or excuse.
Reason, rationalization is irrelevant.
They merely hold the dark negative image.
The fear, the insecurity, the shame,
That which is projected on to the screen of others.
No soul is ever revealed except within the crucible.
The choices, what is hidden and what is revealed reflect the essence of the soul.
Doesn’t matter the reason,
All that matters is choice.
You will know me by my choices and those I do not make.
You will know you by the same device.
Generosity can only be measured when one is in lack.
Drunkenness reveals the heart and does not excuse its actions.
Fear is necessary for courage to manifest itself.
Truth told when it hurts, burns away the prison of the lie.
There should be no shield from its holy fire.
My Soul, you are my responsibility.
Your soul is yours.
