Hi Groovy Man! Personally, I like the second one – is there a reason tics is spelled without the k? If you don’t need that line, I would discard it. Could get lost on shirts depending on your print location. I would also discard the feather and use an apostrophe – it’s cleaner without it. When you print the shirts, I would do a left chest print only. Not a big print on the front or back. And be mindful of under arm stains showing on certain colors of shirts – black is best if you wear them while performing. Gray is bad for that… Just my two cents! Good luck with it all!
Thank you very much for that
You’re welcome – do you know who is going to print the shirts for you yet? The reason I ask is because oftentimes screenprinters have artists on staff who can help you with artwork and colors and stuff. They have a real eye for what works on shirts.
No mam I’ve not talked to anyone yet. The lady does websites and art. She was fixing some stuff on the blog and I ask her to come up with some logo ideas. I was just showing yall as they came in. Do you have any suggestions for a t-shirt place
No, but look up a few in the area where you live and go in person with your artwork and ask them for advice. You could probably do it online, but you won’t get personalized attention or as much advice probably. There can be minimum order requirements as well – where you have to run a certain amount of shirts or they won’t do the job, or you pay a less than minimum charge. Look for shops in your area who will do smaller print runs. Don’t know how many you want. You will pay a charge for them to burn the screens and then you can go back for re-prints if you need them. The shop keeps the screens. And the more colors you use, the higher the price. Don’t cheap out on the quality of the shirts, either. Get 100% cotton with a nice, generous cut and fit. They will shrink a little even though they’re pre-shrunk. I speak from experience in the business if you can’t tell already, but it was years ago, and I’m sure a lot has changed. Just sharing what I used to know!
Yes mam. 🙂 there were a few people who wanted one. I thought I would get whatever $500 would bye and go from there. I really appreciate the advice. I was think that we might wear them but they are really for others. I would sell them or give them away. If they are not performance shirts would the color be as important? I was thinking of getting shirts that look broken in light blue or light purple just cause I like the colors.
I don’t think it’s as important if you’re selling them – colors are good! It depends on the feel you are looking for too – psychedelic, beatnik, hippie stuff is hot right now.
I’m not a hippie but I think Plato is. 🙂 something in that direction was what I was thinking
Sounds cool! I know you will keep it groovy! Enjoy your day 🙂
You too. What kind of nursing do you do
I work in health education, thank you for asking. It’s all on my about page. 🙂
The clock ticks came from the very first song I did called platos groove. The art lady left off the k
Oh okay. But just be mindful that when it’s spelled like that it means like you have a tic in the sense of a nervous twitch! But maybe that’s okay with you guys!
No I want it spelled with a k. She just did that on her own.
Yeah, if you keep it, I would too!
It is a theme for the blog
That’s great!
I’m leaning toward the first. 🙂
I like them both. But if you’re playing around with it, have you tried making the hat, the brim, or the feather a different color? Something that pops, like red or sky blue? That way, instead of just the images to make the brand easily recognizable, a signature color would also make it stand out.
Thank you
That’s an interesting idea and a really valid point. But it would depend on the shirt color, wouldn’t it? Have you decided, P, what color(s) you want to order?
#1 with a better writing tip on the feather as mentioned. #1 has more movement, is more fluid like the words and music… #2 is pretty static and sterile (?).
How would the lighter staff do on a tshirt
Good question. Maybe it would depend on what color shirt you’re putting it on? How about instead of gray a sort of steele great? Good thing to ask a printer about, I’d think.
#2 speaks to me. and love your new pic!!
I think you look like Bobby DeNiro in that pic… just sayin
Is that good?
That is noting but good! Love myself some Bobby DeNiro… notice that I don’t even say Robert… 🙂
🙂 then I’m glad
And that’s all good! 🙂
I love it! I vote for the second one. The only minor thing I would change would be to put a sort of pen tip on the feather to make it look more like a quill than just a nice feather. It looks just great. Your hard work and thought and feedback on this has really paid off!!

Thank you but I am not the artist. I really appreciate all the help yall give me
