My Love is coming to me.
My Love’s thoughts are only of me.
My Love is coming to me.
Love assured, doubts evaporate next to the fire that is my Love.
Tender and intimate words of comfort still my restless heart.
The plans are fixed but I must wait.
My Love is coming to me.
Sweet longing deepens my desire.
And I am content, for I can see no other.
Whose shape, whose fragrance, whose taste fits the longing of my Soul?
None but my Love.
So I wait and the waiting is ardor perfected in faith.
I trust in the heart of my Beloved.
Now, passing fancies are smoke on the breeze.
Distractions vanish, clinging diminishes to an hushed expectancy.
The power of the imposter vanishes like fog in the bright morning sun,
When I imagine the joining with my Love.
I can wait.
I will wait.
For now I know the answer to my Soul’s Longing.
My Love is coming to me.
Beautiful words and reading! Congratulations for the new design of your (great) blog 🙂 – I can now follow you “by email” – thank you 🙂
🙂 I am slowly figuring things out. The best part is that artists like yourself have some interest in what I am doing and the grace to say so. Thank you
Btw. You’ve got great tags in your tag cloud, but I’d add a couple categories that are most applicable because I think it’s the categories that the Reader pulls posts up by. Like Poetry, Self-something or other, maybe half a dozen pertinent categories like that. That’s how people will find their way to your blog the easiest. Just a suggestion.
Funny the way these all have such a different impact when they’re read. I love this (and I don’t think it caught my attention before): Love assured, doubts evaporate next to the fire that is my Love. Such a beautiful word picture.
I know.
Self-knowledge and self-acceptance bring the purest kind of love. The kind that can with stand anything. Love yourself for who you are, forgive yourself for who you are not. There, see, your love is waiting!
🙂 those ideas are the deepest desire of my heart.
Such beautiful words. That perfect love for me is worth the wait.
Thank you for telling me that. Your Love is indeed coming to you.
